Diesel di Indonesia identik dengan bahan bakar solar, tapi jangan salah Ducati Monster Diesel ini bukan itu maksudnya. Dulunya Monster 1100 EVO dan di modif menjadi Monster Diesel yang didedikasikan untuk kawula muda yang percaya diri dewasa dan berpengalaman. Ducati Monster Diesel dirancang dan di pandu oleh Diesel Renzo Rosso yaitu pendiri Diesel merek pakaian yang merupakan gubahan dari Ducati Monster 1100 EVO yang terinspirasi kombinasi corak ala Militer. Tidak hanya kombinasi warnanya saja yang di rubah tetapi ada bagian khusus yang baru seperti penutup jok penumpang, jok kulit, pengaman knalpot dari panas dan penutup dashboard yang secara khusus dirancang untuk meningkatkan sensasi untuk ber-kendaraan ala militer.
